DC Elbow Pain

You have been evaluated in the Olive View-UCLA Emergency Department today for elbow pain. Your evaluation, including physical exam and x-rays, were unremarkable// reveal a fracture. 

Please use the sling for comfort. You can alternate Tylenol and Motrin every 4-6 hours to help control your pain. Take vicodin as needed for severe pain. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery when taking vicodin. 

Please follow up with your primary care physician as needed. If you do not have a primary doctor, you can call your insurance company to find one.  If you do not have insurance, you can look for one on this paper list or go to the finance/registration department for more assistance.


Please follow up as directed. If you referred you to a specialists, please follow up with your appointment. 

Return to the Emergency Department if you experience worsening pain, numbness/tingling, change of color in your arm, or any other concerning symptoms.

DC Ear Pain

You were evaluated in the Olive View-UCLA Emergency Department today for ear pain. Your physical exam suggests that you have an ear infection. Please take the antibiotics in full as directed.
